This semester in Mr. Deweese’s Home Improvement class, the students are working on building a small shed. Their many tasks include learning the proper safety procedures in an undertaking such as this, building the shed from the ground up and furnishing it with electrical outlets, lights, and other things needed to complete a successful, finished structure.
Key players in the success of Mr. Deweese’s project are juniors Alex Henning, Kyle Berschauer, and Dixie Allison who lead the class by listening to directions and helping the other students with their assigned parts.
As a result of this experience, students involved will possess skills valuable for completing their own repairs and updates in a future home. These are jobs that many people must higher someone else to do for them.
